Owns the IT release management process and IT QA testing processes, including management and maintenance of the testing environments to ensure software releases are planned and only promoted through the development and test environments to production on meeting agreed defined levels of quality.
Works closely with the development teams to ensure that planned releases are tested and meets the quality levels.
Maintains a scheduled calendar for the dev and testing environments.
Creates and agrees IT test strategies that include requirements for all types of functional and technical testing (e.g. Performance, availability fail-over, security, etc)
Creates test plans, identifies and schedules testing resource requirements.
Responsible for raising and resolving issues that impede testing and escalation as necessary.
Job Specifications / Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, with a strong focus upon both functional and technical testing disciplines, software version control solutions and test environment management and maintenance.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Familiar with SQL, .Net, Mobile & Web Technologies
